I weighed myself on friday just for kicks and giggles, even though I am on my time of the month, and guess what?! I was down a pound!!! I lost one pound while on my period, so now my weight is 176. woot woot!
Hey - I was working with one of my professors today, and she's a RD and teaches sports nutrition. Well... she was helping a student while I was in her office, and she made the comment that BMI is not a good judge for athletes or those who seriously workout/build muscle. It is a measure for people who are sedatary. Just a FYI. Your biggest measure is Body Fat Composition.

ReplyDeleteYou can lose weight on your period by being very careful about what you eat. Try to avoid salty foods. they really help you retain water.
