I am frustrated and MAD! I haven't lost any weight in the last 2 weeks and its making me so mad. My eating habits haven't changed and I don't know how to push through this. Its frustrating because I was doing so well and I feel like all my progress just came to a screaching stop. I haven't worked out as well I will admit, I havent done pilates lately, I have done my cardio but it doesnt seem to be doing anything! My period is coming up again and I feel like if i dont get my act together before then, I will take 5 steps backwards during that week. :-( AHHH HELP!!!

  1. AH! I know what you're sayin. I didn't lose a single lb in February. I'm just starting to lose weight again- thank goodness. Shoot. I don't have any words of wisdom- just keep it up and you will lose weight-- it may take a week or two but you'll see progress again

  2. I have the solution girlfriend. Ya gotta switch up your routine.Your body gets used to doin the same thing and you become stagnant. Start a completely new routine and you will lose more FOR SURE.

This is from P90X, the workout program I am doing. It is based on muscle confusion:

"Two words: Muscle Confusion. By providing an extensive variety of different moves that take time to master, P90X is continually challenging the body's muscles into new growth. The more you confuse the muscle, the harder your body has to work to keep up; the more variety you put into your workout, the better and faster your results will be.
The flaw with many fitness products is that they all lead to a "plateau" where the body becomes accustomed to the routines, resulting in diminished effectiveness. P90X avoids this plateau effect by switching things up to keep the body guessing for the entire 90 days. Which means IT NEVER GETS EASY. By breaking old routines and opening new doors, secondary and tertiary muscles are constantly being activated and developed."

Obviously you don't know the p90x workouts, but you can take the idea of muscle confusion and apply it to your workouts. Instead of the same pilates and cardio everyday, work chest and back one day, work legs another, and try different forms of cardio. (I've learned that jumping is the best. I.e. jump squats, leaps, spinning, etc.)

  3. Maybe I could let you borrow a CD here and there every once in a while. Or when I'm done or something...
Because it is GRRRRREEEAAT and I really recommend it. I really think it is pretty affordable too. It's 39.95 for 3 months. Kinda like the price of a gym membership (which i am not currently paying). And it's awesome because it comes with an in depth and easy nutrition guide to follow. And If the results aren't what it said, than I will get my money back... If they are what it said, then YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Where do you live?
